The location is fantastic, with stunning sea and pier views. Unfortunately we arrived during bad weather and weren’t able to enjoy the views. Our room was well appointed, comfortable and clean. The whole hotel is beautifully decorated and there is a good bar/dining areas looking over the water. Our evening meal at Brasserie Blanc was outstanding!
Nothing, however, I was surprised that parking wasn’t free for hotel guests (£15)

Beautiful seafront location, very comfortable, lovely breakfast
Apart from the Front desk manager and a young Indian waitress in the dining area, we found the hotel staff to be quite rude. The host at the front of the breakfast hall we found rude and unhelpful, his assistant a youngish lady with glasses was even worse. I asked her for a desert spoon and she huffed, shrugged her shoulders and asked another lady to go get it. Not the sort of service you would expect at a Marriot hotel. Also a few members at the front desk were quite unpleasant. We had two rooms booked and initially they could only find one booking. There was also a mix up with the breakfast and it took the lovely manager to resolve this for us, the lady we first dealt with on the front desk had a real attitude about her.
We would return but the staff at this hotel need to have some customer service training, after paying a high premium for two rooms we expected better.
