check in very friendly with Emily. Room very nice and comfortable ,serviced nicely mid stay. Nautical theme is very nice.
Food excellent and good portions. Julie and Ian took time to chat to us and also check everything was ok.
Room very peaceful. no traffic noise. Bed very comfortable good quality thick mattress and topper on , very cosy and
plenty of cushions to prop up with watching tv.

Ian and Julie plus the staff were brilliant hosts - we were there for two nights for a family wedding and it was just perfect. A very easy walk to Sopley Mill (wedding venue) and the rooms were ideal. Nothing was too much trouble and breakfast was immense! Perfect for the dusty heads the morning after the wonderful ceremony x

We stayed for two separate nights and had breakfast on the first occasion which was very tasty and welcome. Friendly staff.
Disappointed that breakfast was not available on the second stay.

Helpful lady behind the bar, great location and food good.
Very unclean from the floors which transferred to the shower area and bed. Bedding and then our clothing felt damp. Basically everything needed a good clean and the whole outside area needed some love and attention as this could be a great hotel with its location. The hotel did not reflect the nightly charge at all.
