We had a delightful 3 night stay on Arran using Arran Lodge at Lamlash as our base.
The lovely, light, contemporary kitchen at the lodge was very handy when we felt like having a meal 'at home'. The view over to Holy Island from our rooms was spectacular and the sea front walk into the village was a lovely opportunity to soak in the beauty of the area.
The bathrooms were clean but lacked shelf space for toiletry bags or toothbrush holders.
The heated towel rail was very effective.

The location is first class. The lodge is very clean and quiet. Excellent kitchen facilities. En-suite was excellent.
We visited in mid-October and had glorious weather however in the evenings and mornings the room was very cold. I think a little heating would have helped. Perhaps a few logs on the wood burner in the evening in the lovely lounge room would have made it more comfortable.
