QT Sydney didn’t just give us a hotel stay. They gave us a story we’ll be telling for years.
I genuinely don’t know how another hotel is supposed to top this.
We’ve stayed at multiple QT Hotels across Australia and have always loved them, but QT Sydney was on another level.
Before arriving, we sent through a slightly unusual special request: “Surprise us.” We mentioned that my wife and I love mysteries, puzzles and escape rooms. We expected maybe a little something waiting in the room.
Instead, QT Sydney created an entire mystery for us.
A full-scale scavenger hunt throughout the hotel, with intricate clues, riddles, hidden surprises and little prizes along the way. It genuinely felt like our own private Sherlock Holmes adventure and had us ridiculously excited to solve each clue and discover where we were heading next.
A huge shoutout to Rachel, our “Director of Chaos,” who masterminded the whole thing. The creativity, thought and detail she put into the clues was incredible — clever, whimsical and genuinely challenging! Unfortunately she wasn’t working over the weekend, so we never got to thank her personally. Rachel, you absolutely made our weekend!
And to Tessa and August and all the other staff at reception, who brought it all to life. Tessa organised the little prizes and surprises along the way, and both of them made sure everything went perfectly and seamlessly on the day. The amount of effort the team put in for us was honestly incredible.
Of course, our room and the stay itself were nothing short of perfect, but it was the people who made this one so special.
We’ve always loved QT, but the Sydney team created something we will genuinely never forget.
We arrived expecting another wonderful QT stay. We left with one of our favourite memories.
Thank you QT Sydney. You completely blew us away. 🥹❤️

We stayed at QT Sydney to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the team made it unforgettable. After we mentioned the occasion ahead of time, they kindly upgraded our room and welcomed us with complimentary champagne, a beautiful touch we didn't expect. Every staff member we met was warm, thoughtful and genuinely caring, and it showed in every detail. The location in the heart of the CBD is perfect, and the hotel's stylish character makes it feel special. Thank you, QT Sydney, for making our celebration so memorable. We'd love to come back!

Location, staff was absolutely amazing and really helpful!
Virgin gym was good, especially dance and relaxation rooms.
There was a pain you could feel everywhere. It was a dark place full of sorrow and alcohol. My room was packed with it—almost encouraging depression and drinking. Not for me, but it was hard, especially with limited options to light up the room (Room 520).
