Brilliant idea to convert the old prison which gave the property a history and a completely different feel from normal hotels. The food was amazing and the staff were brilliant.
Not much we didn’t like but though the bathroom needed updating and finishing better. But only a minor complaint.

Great location and the building is a talking point
Could do with a gym

The Prison itself was good to look around
My room was not in the prison. I didn’t realise when booking nor was it mentioned anywhere. My room was over the top of a loud bar. The parking cost £35 a day for this was not mentioned when booking the room.
Staff were polite.

The location and staff were excellent as was the car parking service without that I wouldn’t have stayed there as it was very expensive in my opinion
My room had no air conditioning and no opening windows and it was very hot. There was a fan but that didn’t change the temperature
My daughters room did have opening windows fortunately
Also I had arranged to meet some guests on the Sunday and arranging for coffee to be served was not easy as you had to go down stairs and ask the breakfast team to arrange
