The location: well suited to access from Train station (8min walk) and also to explore the historic colleges by walk.
The rooms are decent size and very comfortable.
Huge shoutout to Jess at the reception who checked us in and also was kind enough to point out on a map, the sites and sounds to not be missed!

The buffet breakfast was one of the most well presented I have seen for sometime. It was exceptionally clean and tidy. It was particularly noticeable how the staff were in being ready to help sort anything out and arrange for things like porridge and omelette.
The heating controls on room 507 were difficult to understand - the room was far too cold on arrival

The hotel was in an excellent location in the City.
Housekeeping was pretty poor. I was stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and not once were my dirty water tumblers replaced. The breakfast area was also understaffed, so that there were very few uncluttered tables available. Also, many of the breakfast items and crockery had run out.
I thought that the hotel was overpriced for the service that it provided.
