The location is excellent with everything within easy walking distance. The hotel's exterior is charming and the feel of a more traditional hotel continues inside.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and warm. The bathroom was modern and very clean.
Our room overlooked the cobbled street and was quiet during our stay.
Breakfast was as expected for a small hotel with a reasonable range of items to choose from. Hot items were cooked to order.
There was a log fire in the dining room which made the room very inviting and cosy..
There is also a lamp fixed to the side of the hotel with an interesting story!

Old style family run hotel. Staff very friendly. Having an excellent breakfast with an open wood fire a treat.

- Location
- Low price
- Rooms don’t look like the pictures. Mine (on the ground floor) was dark and run-down.
- No hand soap (!!)
- Very bad smell in the hotel lobby.
- Receptionist not very friendly (in the evening).
- Definitely not a real 4-star hotel - but of course a real 4-star establishment wouldn’t be so cheap.
