All of the staff - at reception, in the restaurant and in housekeeping - were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is ideal, and the atmosphere is one of relaxed elegance. I would definitely stay here again.

Right by UNESCO canal, but quiet and not noisy at night. Sunny water views were very pleasing. Pedestrian friendly walks to many interesting shops, restaurants, and historic site.

Location is great
We had a two level room. The winding steps were extremely narrow which created a dangerous situation. We were switched to another room where the shower door leaked water leaving the entire bathroom floor soaking wet which was slippery since the tiles were polished marble. Maintenance could not fix the problem. We were then moved to another room that was 2 levels with a bit better staircase but still somewhat dangerous. The housekeeping crew was not very thorough..
