Room was a good size with tea and coffee facilities,
Great staff and breakfast service and choice was good.
Bathroom in room a little unkept/badly finished, the sink drain quickly backed up so was difficult to use sink to brush teeth etc, the smell of drains was bad in the bathroom (we did report this) and you needed to keep the bathroom door closed when in the bedroom but leave it open when in the bathroom as if not the smell became unbearable.
we stayed a Saturday night and the room was above the outdoor patio, lots of noise until late.

Lovely building, great location, friendly staff and lovely breakfast.
The room was dusty, dirty sock underneath the chair from a previous guest. Noisy over bar area

I rang to ask for an earlier check in and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast was good and again staff were friendly and efficient. Unfortunately my shower door was broken but I was moved to another room when I reported it with no inconvenience to me, they even moved my belongings for me as I had to go out.
The decor was a little tired however this did not detract from the comfort.

Breakfast was lovely. Whole place could do with a lick of paint and a tidy up.
Finishing touches.

"The breakfast was excellent, all cooked fresh to order. Hot tea and coffee readily available, with plenty of cereal, toast and yogurt available.
Fantastic hotel, great drink selection behind the bar,..."
