Breakfast was very good, wide selection and variety to please all tastes and the hot breakfasts were cooked to order.
Room, spacious clean and with good in room facilities such as ability to make hot drinks.
The on site restaurant for evening meals is closed on Thursdays and Sundays which was a bit inconvenient for our one night stay meaning a trip into local town for evening food. Shame, as the last time we stayed there on a Thursday it is was open and of a very high standard. Good food, hence the disappointment.

Excellent staff, breakfast cooked to order, very close to bus stop. Very good evening meal

We loved the location, the hotel itself was beautiful. The staff were friendly and the room was super spacious. Food was beautiful too
There was a couple of things not working in our room. The smart tv didn’t work as well as the fire. So it got quite chilly in the room.

Brilliant choice on breakfast menu, large portions, very pleasant breakfast room. Large free car park. Large garden with magnificent chestnut tree - great for afternoon tea.
We're pretty sure we had the worst bedroom (number 15) in the hotel. It was dark, the only window faces a wall. The bathroom was small with only a small ledge round the basin.
