Excellent location, nice room and friendly staff would definitely visit again.
The kitchen was closed at the time of visiting, would have liked to have tried the food.

This is a lovely and welcoming pub centrally located in Pickering. There was good communication before we arrived. Our room was comfortable and of a good size with a spacious bathroom with a bath. Tea and coffee making facilities were very good with quality coffee bags rather than instant coffee. There were Yorkshire Tea teabags. There was complementary water and we offered fresh milk in addition to the UHT sachets. The room was quiet. Everyone was very friendly.
The only disappointment was a lack of an evening meal. However, this was offset by the availability of several eating establishments only a couple of minutes walk away. We were given recommendations to help us choose where to go.
