The room itself was very large and comfortable, definitely much larger than I expected. Even the toilet was in a separate cabinet rather than in the bathroom. Good toiletries supplied rather than dispensers in the shower. 5 mins walk from the station - not that hard to find as some say. Le Dome name over the archway entry to the large courtyard, obvious in daytime but may be difficult at night.
Access to check in/out may be problematic for some. 5pm check in is a bit of a clue as definitely not a manned desk for what are essentially modern serviced apartments, not a hotel is similar. As I wanted to leave later made arrangements to keep my room card, which opens entry into the block, and left my bag in the very glamorous breakfast room - but at 16€ not for me or anyone else at 9.30am when I left. Yes, there are stairs but as a new build they are very wide & not that problematic - able to carry my wheeled pack with no problem.

The Dome may be a small hotel but it's very well placed for a short walk into the centre of Arras. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) who spoke excellent English. Parking was a little tricky as the hotel has only a few parking spaces but the owner kindly moved his car to accommodate us. We were given a spacious quiet room with the most comfortable large bed. Breakfast was a comprehensive help yourself buffet but the owner made the coffee for us. Overall, a lovely stay prior to getting LeShuttle at Calais.
Nothing. The Hotel is a little tricky to find but if you miss the archway to the courtyard first time round, it's fairly easy to go back on yourself and no one hooted us even though it was rush hour on a Friday night.

Good enough for an overnight stay en route to Calais. Parking and central location.
Not so easy to find and no lift! Note to self:- Always check! Also toon more than an hour to reach someone to gain access.

The room was spacious clean, nicely presented and comfortable. Compared to the outside of the building, the interior is a nice surprise!
We were lucky and arrived early but had we been later, parking is very limited with spaces that were once available to the hotel, now no longer accessible to them. If you want to check in before 5pm you need to advise the hotel and pay extra as the receptionist is only there at specific times.
