Beautiful 5 star hotel

The facilities were of the highest standard and easily accessible location.
Very little to not like, nothing stood out that I’d raise as a concern.

The property spa is excellent. The location is the best it gets and the staff was almost overly courteous.
I loved it. It might be the best hotel experience I’ve ever had.

The amenities were lovely, we enjoyed the breakfast. Our suite was comfortable and spacious. Upon arrival our key cards were so faulty we had to go down to the front desk 3+ times to change them. Thankfully a lovely supervisor called Vic or Vicky came up and called another member of staff to fix it for us after my sister insisted for a member of staff to come up to investigate. The other receptionists and members of staff were great too.
Faulty key cards.
I paid the total cost of the stay 1 week before so it was extremely confusing to me why the receptionist charged my credit card twice for my stay when I was checking out. I didn't catch her name but it was a younger woman with straight dark brown hair. When I was checking out of the hotel (26/10/2026 at 12:03pm), I assumed I was paying for the room service charges so I did not think anything of it. I didn't even notice until I opened my banking app to double check for any payments due. I approached her and informed her of this and she said "yes you're right", refunded me from the 1st payment I made 1 week ago and sent me 4 invoice emails. I am shocked that she did not see the paid room beforehand as I have never experienced this before. It should be a relaxing experience, not one where I have to babysit staff to charge me the correct amount at a 5 star hotel. The front desk is the first and last interaction of a hotel so it is appalling that my family and I were presented with this experience. This interaction tanked the overall score.
