Location price
No hot water on a Morning.
Apparently known issue with water pressure means no water comes out of hot tap or shower in heavy use times. Bathroom/Shower enclosure very tired and only a shower curtain for privacy.

The two staff members we met were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is perfect when traveling to or from Haymarket. The bed was comfortable. The price was very good for Edinburgh and plenty of local shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes are within 5 minutes walk.
The decor is dated, and could do with an upgrade but if you're just looking for an inexpensive room in Edinburgh, then you can overlook this.

Not too far from the haymarket
Had a ground floor room looking into the street so blinds down all the time
Also the toilet is way to close to the wall so you have to have very short legs

The location was quite good for the centre of Edinburgh. I was able to check in a little earlier than planned. The bed was comfortable.
The room was basic which is fine but seems a bit expensive for what you get. A minor annoyance was no bedside lamp so you will have to use your phone light.
