Very convenient to the railway station. Modern and clean feel. Plenty of staff on hand to help. Bar area nice and spacious.
Though convenient for the railway station, it’s an uphill trek if you are coming back from the town/seafront.
Breakfast is ok but fairly standard. No hash browns. No Greek yoghurt and fruit.

Great location, 3 min walk from the station. The staff could not have been nicer. They were so accommodating at breakfast this morning for Coeliac, got the chef to cook me stuff direct from the kitchen.

Very pleasant staff at the check in. The room was large and had a decent sized bathroom. Great location for the train station and the communal areas at reception/restaurant were pleasant.
It could be that I was unlucky with my room (I was there for four nights): The bath, the carpets and curtains (and even the net curtains) all had multiple suspicious stains on them, which was pretty gross. The headboard of the bed was some sort of fake leather and had loads of scratchmarks in it. Additionally there was a very loud constant humming noise from the bathroom which made it difficult to sleep (even with the door firmly shut). The food in the restaurant (dont ask, but we ate 3 meals there) was pretty poor and when one main course remained untouched apart from a single bite, no one was interested as to why. Finally they are losing extra points for my pet peeve of having hangers attached to the wardrobe! Probably fine for a single night.
