Friendly staff, lovely location.and comfortable rooms.
Garden Wing is an ugly building compared with the Manor House. Quite a long walk from room to any of the facilities.

Breakfast was lovely , healthy fruit to great full english and everything in-between.
We were in the garden wing and this looks like has been fully updated on the inside , we were in the lower floor and new bathroom , and the room looked like it had been recently tastefully renovated.
Pool facilities were great , nice sauna and steam room, was busy , but was Saturday evening.
Good food on the evening, I had belly pork that was lovely and a reasonable price, my wife had the venison , which was a little bit mean in terms of quantity of venison.
Unfortunatly there was a smell of cannabis in the corridor , but to be fair the staff dealt with it .
The outside of the garden wing needs a re-cladding job done on it as looks dated and different to the other parts of the hotel. Inside was fine and had been updated.

Staff were lovely and helpful.
Good and service was fine.
Pool and sauna needs a refurbishment.
Changing rooms not good, lockers didn't work.
Expected to be in main building so the garden wing was a key down.

Lovely setting, friendly staff.
Had booked very expensive room in the Manor House due to the limited mobility of my family members. They had a power cut just in their room due to the wind blowing although it was a relatively still evening. Luckily neither of them were in the shower!
There was no heat in the room and no hot water in the morning.
