Very dog friendly, nice atmosphere. Not a "luxury" venue but good value for money

The room was well equipped. Bed was comfortable and shower was good albeit a bit tight to get into. The food was very good and breakfast offered different choices. Gluten free accommodated. We had two dogs who received their own welcome pack containing treats, a toy and Pooh bags.
All was good.

Lovely pub inn situated perfectly in the middle of Hathersage village in the Peak District. Large comfortable room, very clean, comfy beds, great views, large bathroom with powerful hot shower. The pub downstairs has good beers, excellent food and even a pool table. All staff were genuinely really nice, very welcoming and friendly.
