The charm and ambiance of the hotel. Relaxed atmosphere and lovely rooms. Great location.
Nothing. One suggestion is to have lounge music in the bar as it was quiet. Something like St Germain lounge music would be good. Need to attract slightly younger crowd.

The hotel itself is gorgeous and the staff mostly very helpful. Laundry service was extraordinarily good and fast. I loved having the lounge to have a cozy afternoon read.
Some of the services were not stellar. We booked a table at the Mirabelle restaurant for a Monday and had it confirmed with a special birthday dessert only to find that the Mirabelle is always closed on Mondays. We ate at the Garden Restaurant where we apparently had a reservation, but the staff took quite a while to find the request for a special birthday dessert and when it came, it was one slice of a very average chocolate cake. The hotel is obviously missing a library with cushy chairs for an even cozier reading space.

Great location, and reception staff were excellent. The hotel itself is pretty nice, and presumably was once great.
Given the nearly £500 per night, the facilities didn't match my expectations. Crummy TV in the room, and apart from the reception staff, the service was mediocre at best. The "fine dining" restaurant was not great. The menu read like fine dining, the delivery was way short.
