Comfortable and clean room. Good location on the seafront. Excellent value and lots of amenities nearby. Short walking distance into town.
Decor and room facilities fine but dated and could do with a refresh.

Excellent location overlooking the sea and close enough to town to walk to easily. Limited on site parking which can be reserved. Extremely friendly helpful staff especially kerry on the bar giving advice on the local area and being particularly welcoming and friendly. Also restaurant manager who was invaluable when helping our elderly mother who has dementia. I didn't get his name but even though it was too early for breakfast he spoke to her and got her cup of tea when she was wandering early in the morning. Huge choice of food for breakfast. Would definitely recommend. Rooms were comfortable and had almost everything you needed.
No fridge in the room which would have been beneficial.

Breakfast great, rooms clean but some very small - definitely recommend a sea facing room if possible (much bigger), staff very very helpful and as always made the stay enjoyable.
Being an old hotel it doesn't have many extras - no gym, small rooms, no air con etc.

Location
Very pleasant staff
Food very good selection
Shower - very fierce with no control. Outdated and needs replacing
Bed small and had sheet and blanket - needs a duvet
Automatic taking of a gratuity - thus should be up to the customer
