Ideal location , clean good size room with a separate area for tea / coffee making facilities plus a fridge .

Highest Pub in Derbyshire literally next door , prices in the pub on the higher side Howe this was reflected in the quality of the food .Amazing views from outside area … on a clear day .

Excellent place, very clean, perfect location, and lovely host.
Our room has an adjoining door to the main cottage, and another guest opened the door while we were lying in bed, about to go to sleep.

The breakfast was fabulous, especially the bacon. It was very nicely served. We liked the enormous bed and the decor of the room, with its lovely pictures. It was splendid to have the Barrel pub so near. The views were terrific and the atmosphere peaceful.
The toilet didn’t work which was inconvenient but didn’t spoil our stay. In fact we were quite amused by the situation.
It might have been a good thing if we had invested in a sat nav but our host directed us and greeted us warmly

Great view, peaceful
In mid June the cottage was cold and felt damp. No ability to turn radiator or towel rail on therefore cold shower room - therefore not welcoming. Poor quality / cooked English breakfast therefore passed on that 2nd day
