We loved everything about this beautiful guest house. Our room was lovely. It was large, comfortable, clean and well equiped. The sofa by the window with views over the hills was wonderful. We had bad weather during our stay and spent more time than planned in our room. We were warm and cosy and enjoyed sitting with a coffee watching the storm through the window. Alan, the host is welcoming and kind. He brought us fresh milk each morning and even provided wine glasses for us. We will definitely stay here on our next visit.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Alan was a brilliant host. Room was lovely and location couldn't have been any better.

Door closers on bathroom door did make a loud squeak so did wake partner when I got up for toilet in the night but not a massive issue

10 / 10Outstanding·Oct 2026

The room was large, clean and comfortable and in an excellent location. The host was lovely and it was really good value.

Nothing.

The location is very central. Alan is a pleasant host. The room was larger than expected with a lovely bathroom. Special bonus points for having fresh milk and water in the fridge. No UHT milk! Biscuits, too!

It would be great to have breakfast! The road can get quite noisy, but it was OK.
