I found the suite to be of a superior standard. The bed was very comfortable, and the duvet was such that I didn't overheat through the night. I enjoyed the wireless speaker with I was able to connect with my phone. The kitchenette was very well equipped: 2 pints of milk were provided in the fridge and the tea and coffee was of a very high standard. The bathroom was well equipped, with a shower and bath. The room was marvellously quiet, and great value for money.
There was no view from the suite. I realise that a black decor is fashionable but it wasn't to my liking.

Great location with good facilities and restaurants close by. We came for the Literature festival and staying at Strozzi Palace gave us a good base to attend events, eat at various restaurants while also having kitchen facilities to make snacks and drinks when we wanted.

The room was very well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchenette was very useful and the large bed very comfortable. The room was very light with tasteful furnishings.
Generally everything was good - would have been perfect if the room had been a little larger.
