It was fantastic, Felex and his wife looked after us so well, we had wonderful Ugandan food the entire time and Felex helped us even for small things like helping us to print off a permit for later in the trip. They organised a very nice hike for us and gave us recommendations for things to do, even though we were only there for 2 nights. We had a wonderful time. What an amazing family.

Felex, Asinja and the kids were so welcoming! They cook delicious food with local produce. Felex is always up for a chat and coordinating a wonderful community project in the village. It’s a simple room but basic amenities, but a truly unique experience.

Felex is an amazing host and him and his wife really know how to cook. Felex is always up for a talk but also knows when to give you privacy! He’s working on a lot of different projects which are interesting to hear about. 10/10!
The information provided is good, but not everything is clear. We booked two rooms for 2 people like mentioned, but 1 room is enough for 2.

It is impossible to list all the great things about the place. Most of all, it allows one to truly experience the local community. The place was really nice with all the needed facilities and the dinner that was included with it was super delicious. The views are great and the garden at the property very lush.
We got to speak with the family that hosted us which was super interesting.
The place is close to local shops and restaurants, it is also only around 2 km from the gates of the Rwenzori National Park.
Highly recommended!
