Everything about the property itself was great.
There is no shop within walking distance when you take current weather into account. A small shop in the hotel would be an amazing idea and another way to maximise profits. Other guests in the adjacent hotels might even use the shop also

Room was clean, beds are comfortable, area is quiet. Good location, if you visit London Excel, otherwise nothing interesting in the area. DLR stop is not far from the hotel. Takes about 30-40 minutes to get to the centre of London.

Room was a good size and for the price was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was nice, great choice.
Staff were very friendly

Breakfast options were limited for someone who does not eat pork or powdered eggs. They had veggie sausages but mushrooms weren't great and were cold too.
Could of had more fruit selection to put on top of yogurt or waffles and I didnt see any granola available.
Staff are not attentive when it came to customer interactions. I told them I was staying for my birthday and didnt even get a Happy Birthday yet alone anything complimentary!
Paying almost £3 for a can of 7up is ridiculous for
TV didnt work - the channels had no signal, only radio option worked but unable to change the channel so was useless and TV was so dated it didn't have any Smart options.
