Exceptionally clean, comfy beds, very friendly staff and excellent location.
Room was TINY. Had a twin room with my son and it was claustrophobic in there. Had to side shuffle down the side of the beds and case had to be stored closed under the bed as literally nowhere else for it. Bathroom was v clean but door design had no handle just a large hole which gave little privacy.

The location was perfect, so close to the station and the theatre we were visiting, with eating and drinking venues all round. The room was a decent size, the bathroom was very good for the price, everywhere was very clean.
The lack of hanging space and shelf/table space in the room made it difficult to store anything properly. Also the lack of a single stool/chair meant nowhere to sit (the bed was too high) to do simple things like put shoes on comfortably.

The location from New St Station is amazing, literally the next street. Approx 15 min walk to Utilita Arena.
Booked a room with no window, which was fine but the air con does not blow & the lowest temp is 19° (asked reception). Didn't offer to help so we had a very sweaty night!
The "bathroom" is just a sectioned off glass panel in the corner of the tiny room. No privacy whatsoever & the light just illuminates the whole room..
Tiny room, can just walk around the bed. No bedside tables or any other furniture so have to put everything on floor. 2 small pillows on bed, can't sit upright. Can hear everything in corridor & strangely other people's toilets flushing!!
No drink making facilities. A coffee machine in reception, costs £2.50 & the coffee came out as we presumed a cup would come out....no, £2.50 wasted. Receptionist just looked & pointed at cups (not by machine) . No refund offered 😕 How was I supposed to know?
I would not use again. Paid same amount for other hotels in brum & get a lot more for your money.

Great location for the theatre, friendly staff clean
We have stopped here before and it was fine. The bed in room 210 is pushed right up close the the wall and you have to walk sideways to it. Yet the other side had at least 5ft between the bed and window. Would be much better in the middle of the room. Gap between the end of the bed and the wall is so tight you again had to walk sideways. Toilet kept starting up and running during the night.
