Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Fadlos Anay in the Nubian village of Gharb Suheil. The Manager, and the entire hosting team were warm, welcoming and genuinely caring, and made both us and our two young children feel completely at home. The home-cooked food was delicious and authentic, and the local tour gave us a real insight into Nubian life and culture that we would never have found on our own. Swimming pool is a bonus and great as our children relaxed every day while returning from our day trips.
Nothing at all. Everything was better than we expected. Nothing to complain about. Our only advice to other families is to stay more than one night, because there is so much to enjoy here.

The guesthouse is very nice, full of colors and paintings.
It is well located, near the nubian village but a bit aside, far from the shops and the crowd.
The breakfast is good.
The swimming pool is appreciable.
But mostly, the host Mahmoud is very sympathic. He showed us a really good restaurant on the Nile.
Maybe the WiFi was not really good in the room, but was ok in the public areas.

Don’t expect anything fancy. Simple, but cozy and comfortable. The reception team was amazing — especially Ahmed Ali, who made the experience even better. And you absolutely shouldn’t miss trying the local food — it’s a must!

Very good price. Friendly owner. Good air conditioning.
Hard to reach by rental car. No proper parking space. No tea or coffee or water offered for breakfast.
