The location is pretty close to the airport. 24/7 reception and check in.

Lylo is right next to Christchurch Airport, which was perfect since I was arriving on a very late flight and just needed somewhere to sleep. The staff send you a map showing how to walk to the hotel, which was quicker than the route Google Maps suggested. Self check-in was quick and easy.
At 198 cm (6'6"), I still fit comfortably in the pod. The common area is huge, with plenty of seating options, from bean bags and couches to hammocks. The bathrooms were spacious and there was never a wait.
Overall, great value for a bed after a late flight!
When I got to my room, the pod I’d been assigned was already taken. The staff told me to just take another empty one, explaining that early arrivals tend to grab the lower bunks. I hadn’t specifically booked a lower bunk, but the casual attitude was a bit jarring. Back in the room, I understood why someone had taken my pod: two of the other free pods had no electricity, so no lights, fan or charging, which was concerning. I eventually found an empty pod with power and settled in. Inside the pod, the digital clock and the light around the USB ports gave off a very bright blue glow, and I had to cover them to sleep.
The showers were good, with consistent hot water and strong pressure, but the facilities were inconsistent. Some showers had a hanging shelf for your belongings, so you don’t have to put them on the often very wet floor, but the shelves are removable and most showers didn’t have one. Also, bring your own shower gel since none is provided, and bring a towel unless you want to rent one.
Having stayed at Lylo Auckland before, I found this location wasn’t quite on the same level.

Close to airport, cheap,.ore private nd bigger than I thought ,everything ypu need for a.good nights sleep.
Someone was making loud noise all morning, I mean loud but I was stuffed, tied so didn't really bother me ,forgot set alarm missed my flight by 40 minutes ,cost $100 more for later flight
Worked in Christchurch years after earthquake, left in 2019 it is the city to beat now awesome city had a great time.back in Auckland 1 day starting to feel like not in my country again and getting angry again haahaa

Very close to the airport, just a 10-minute walk.
The benefit of saving time by being close to the airport got offset by the noise - our room was at the front of the building, facing the road and parking lot and next to the foyer, so in addition to banging doors, it was noisy from cars.
