Everything was really fine

Very helpful staff who facilitated early check in when we flew in from London and sorted out our room booking so we didn’t need to move rooms after a couple of nights. Brilliant location opposite the beautiful Botanical Garden and very central for everything in Christchurch. Looking forward to staying here again at the end of our New Zealand trip in late November.
Nothing- everything was great.

Very tidy, clean, safe & secure. Great facilities. Close to everything.
Staff seemed slightly disinterested in an older solo travelling female aside from a friendly UK staffer female. Having worked in hostels I know the importance of making all punters feel welcomed.

It was closer to CBD.
Very tiny room, toilet/shower was outside not attached to rooms. room carpet was smelly, too many people.
