Point A Hotel London Waterloo

The location was very close to bus and tube lines making it very accessible. Checking in and out were both very easy. Building felt safe and secure, and staff were exceptionally friendly.

Room was small and limited in amenities - no kettle, fridge, ironing available.

Absolutely Everything - we will definitely be back - we felt like we stumbled across a little hidden gem that was perfect for anyone spending time in London and needing a lovely little base that’s got it all ☺️ From the minute we walked in the room we absolutely loved it 💝 Everything felt so homely and lovely like it was a bedroom in your house. The room is tiny and yet has by far the most facilities in the room that make it perfect when you’re there. The same can be said for the bathroom. The bed was one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept on in a hotel - loved the huge window - you cannot believe you’re in central London because it is so quiet.

There’s no tea making facilities in the room. Had to get that down stairs at reception and take up.

My husband and I stayed at Point A Hotel London Westminster (Lambeth) during our visit to London. While there were some positives, unfortunately, our overall experience was a little disappointing. The biggest downside was definitely the size of the room. The room was extremely small, to the point where we felt quite claustrophobic. There was barely enough space for the two of us to move around comfortably, particularly with our luggage. The bathroom was also very small, which made getting ready and using the facilities quite inconvenient. We understand that hotel rooms in London can be compact, but this felt particularly cramped and uncomfortable. In terms of location, it was relatively average. While the hotel was close to Big Ben, which was a nice bonus, we didn’t find the location particularly convenient for getting to other attractions and areas of London. We often found ourselves having to travel further than expected. Another downside was the noise from the street, which could be heard from inside the room and made it a little difficult to fully relax. Towels were only replaced every two days, which wasn’t ideal, although the staff were always happy to assist and provide additional towels when requested. We really appreciated their helpfulness.

One of the biggest positives was definitely the staff. Everyone we encountered was lovely, friendly and accommodating, which made a real difference to our experience. Having a television in the room was also a nice convenience. Overall, while we appreciated the wonderful hospitality and proximity to Big Ben, the extremely limited room space, small bathroom, street noise and less-than-ideal location made our stay less comfortable than we had hoped. We would recommend this hotel mainly to travellers looking for a simple place to sleep for a short stay, particularly those travelling light. However, for couples with luggage or anyone wanting a little more space and comfort, we would suggest considering other options.
