Excellent location with a rare view of the lake and park unlike most small room hotels in Tokyo (with the upgraded room). Excellent location near Ueno Station and the Keisei. Exceptionally quiet which is wonderful. Rooms are extremely small like many single occupant Japanese hotel rooms, however clean and modern. The A/C is centrally controlled by the hotel, although you can adjust it within the room (this could be an issue in hot summer months). The price was very high for the room when I stayed - more than double what it is at other times of the year - so it was a high priced compared to what we payed in other Japanese cities for much larger rooms.
The room was very small - but it was modern, clean, with comfortable linens and accessories. This is also to be expected in this type of Japanese hotel.

The property was very easy to find as a first time traveler to Japan and was in a great area for hitting the surrounding areas. The staff were also super nice.
This is our own fault for not really looking but the space was a tad smaller than expected but not anything that stopped us from enjoying our time.

Very conveniently located for us when coming from Narita Airport via the Skyliner. Perfect for arriving after a long travel day.
The rooms are small, but very comfortable.
There was no room for a large suitcase, so it had to be kept closed and upright - the only place to open it was on the bed.
