The property was certainly located in The Old Town, had private parking available.
Nothing, it was clean, comfortable & the staff were very helpful.

Charming older hotel in historical village of Saint Malo. Close to short range of steps to ramparts for easy access. View of the sea from corner window. Huge breakfast of local breads, cheeses and fruits. Helpful and personable staff. Easy checkin/ checkout. Elevator much appreciated. Nice common room on ground floor for breakfast and just hanging out. Several restaurants and bars close by. Onsite manager- becoming rare these days unfortunately.
Shower really small.

Owner made me feel welcome, didn’t answer my haltering French in English, and booked my taxi for the morning. The bed was comfortable and the continental breakfast was super and served with a smile. I liked being in a real old St Malo building with some sea view. Free WiFi.
For me it was just right, but not if you want a standard generic hotel room. The room was very plain and small and a large person would hardly fit in the lift. All perfectly adequate and of its age and place.

Good location
No hot water at all for. shower when we left at 5.30am
Lift was so small never seen one so small on all my 62 years
Carpets were very dirty on stairs and it was so dated the rooms
