The breakfast was very local and tasty. I liked the boiled egg maker and the homemade custardy cake with prunes. My room also had a nice deep bathtub that was very clean and inviting.
The decor was fine but perhaps a bit dreary. That may have been because the weather was rainy and gray.

Location was great
There wasn’t a bar at the hotel, we knew this before booking but I didn’t realise that I had a habit of having a drink at the bar whilst waiting for my wife before going out for the evening.

Good location
Paid for an upgrade of our room but was still very tight and had to wiggle around suitcases.

"We upgraded to a supreme recently refurbished room. Simple but big and comfortable with a very useful table in the bathroom. Welcome staff were very welcoming and helpful. Location was nicely walkable..."
