Karawan was a wonderful property with a beautiful courtyard and rooftop restaurant. The food was very good for Fez. We loved the local charm and authentic feel.
This may not be a problem for everyone, but it was really noisy. We had a room at the front of the building and there was constant noise from artisans in the Medina. The property itself was also very noisy with sound echoing through as wait staff came down the stairs from the roof and doors were opened and closed. We enjoyed our stay and loved the property, but the noise made it difficult to sleep and relax.

This is a beautiful riad with exceptional service. The spaces, decor, open courtyard, rooftop views are all just exceptional. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful Riad! It's in the medina but very easy to get out of it and to a main street for walking and taxis to other areas of the city. The room was comfortable and very quiet and the common areas were peaceful- a wonderful respite from the hectic vibe of the medina. The rooftop restaurant/lounge/bar was special and we ate there 3 of the 4 nights of our stay. The food was very good and the ambience and view were wonderful. Staff were very attentive.
