Ortigia Boutique Palace is elegant and beautiful, full of historic charm with modern upgrades. The location was perfect, right in the historic center of Ortigia. Everything was spotlessly clean. The large, spacious shower in the main bedroom was the best shower I've experienced when traveling--plenty of hot water and amazingly good water pressure. The staff both at check in and at check out were friendly and helpful.
There was a slightly funky smell in the shower of the second bathroom.

Recent renovation of rooms . But there are only rooms in an old building.
Location in a decrepit area of old Siracusa. It wasn´t by any means a 'Palace' or a 'Boutique' as the name states. There wasn´t any street number 138 in the Via Dione, the point where the 'Palace' was supposed to be located.
The reception was closed by 17:15, time of our arrival, and the assistance by phone was very poor and rude by one of the assistants who started shouting!
