Just a great welcome, room was a great size, massive bed and the staff were great too. Breakfast was delicious with great service.

No fripperies but a clean and comfortable property staffed by people who invested effort in making you comfortable. Very good, very reasonably priced food - breakfast especially nice. Room overlooking the road but didn’t find it particularly intrusive.
Coffee not so hot, either literally in terms of temperature and in terms of quality.

Great location. Lovely breakfast included and we also enjoyed a nice meal there. Comfy beds, clean & fluffy towels. Wonderful shower! A warm welcome on arrival. Free parking.
It’s a bit tired in places. Handles falling off, dodgy bedside lamps, toilet flush broken and scuffs galore all over the place - it’s just needs some TLC. We ended up moving rooms on the second night, due to a ‘heating issue’. The rooms were cold, we asked for help with this, but after moving room “where the heating definitely works”, my husband had to get a bit narky and amazingly the heating came on. I think it was just the ‘on’ button that was the problem!!
