It was a great location for access to all the restaurants and sites in Alnwick. The property was very clean, absolutely spotless and really nice decor.
There’s no way to control the heating and it came on at odd times, 8:30am when we had just got out the shower so we’re really hot and then cold at night going to bed.
It’s noisy, they must know this as they provide eat plugs. It’s on the Main Street so it’s expected to get traffic noise. On the Saturday night there were lots of drunken people outside and the people in the room upstairs were making a lot of noise until 2am, even with earplugs I couldn’t get to sleep.

Lovely place to stay, immaculate and easy to get in and close to town. Room was comfortable. Stayed on 3rd floor. Parked in Plough opposite.
Do have to come out of room to use bathroom and balcony, but it was no bother and bathroom well equipped and again immaculate.

Lovely building and the room was very clean. Super easy walk into town and there is a lovely pub across the road.
I did get woken up from people arriving late. I’d recommend booking the top floor to hear less stomping on the floorboards.

The location was great, the room was good with good facilities (probably too many biscuits!!). The parking worked out well even though I had some concerns.
I've rated staff as I did, because I didn't encounter anyone (which was fine) but there was no option to say this on the rating scale. I would definitely stay at Tate House again - thank you!
Nothing really
