Exceptional stay at Rimu Lodge. The host, Sue-Ellen’s local knowledge of attractions and eateries made for two memorable evenings. The lodge itself exceeded expectations: splendid breakfasts, happy hour drinks, spacious and beautifully laid-out room and living area, and countless thoughtful touches that made us feel truly spoiled. We can’t wait to return for another couple of nights.

I could not fault Rimu Lodge in anyway. Suellen’s is just such a wonderful host . She is a delightful person and her recommendations for sightseeing in the area we found very helpful. Just a beautiful place to stay. Breakfast is amazing better than you will get in a 5 star hotel . Just beautiful.
I could not fault anything about this property. Such a beautiful setting

Sue-Ellen was delightful and very knowledgeable providing great advice on where to stop based on our travel plans. The room was beautiful and spacious with an incredible view and breakfast was à la carte. Wish we were staying longer. We will be back. 😀
