Nice room, good food and comfortable onsen facility (indoor and outdoor). Friendly and helpful staff and parking close to the hotel.
The hotel is good but the general neighbourhood (and town in general) has seen better days. There are quite a few bars in the vicinity and there is noise from the street from patrons leaving.

Staff were very polite and good with English. Explained everything very well. Room was amazing. Heads up, no real kitchen facilities so don't expect much. There's so many amazing restaurants and eateries that you won't need to cook. Onsen is a big win.

This place is fantastic! It’s super close to the train station, and you can easily get buses to see the Snow Monkeys or go for some mountain hiking. The onsen was amazing, and the Japanese breakfast was absolutely wonderful. The staff were always there when you needed them, but they also respected your need for privacy. I was a bit worried about sleeping in a traditional Japanese bed, but I was so pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was and how well we slept.
