The hotel is in walking distance to all restaurants and the bus to Machu Picchu. The breakfast was good but the coffee was terrible. They had an expresso machine but no staff behind the bar at lunch and breakfast.
At 6 am when i left for my second visit to Machu Picchu, the receptionist was upset because she wanted to make sure I was not leaving before paying for the rooms. I was back before 10 am which is check out and diligently pay my bill.

Room-Excellent with a nice view, room is a bit old BUT still does not smell like it
Breakfast-It is ok, nothing to shout about, but other than that the food we had at lunch time was great
Location-It is super near the train, artesania, and bus consettur
the road to the hotel can be dirty especially when it is wet or when it rains

Beautiful views of the river and mountains if you get a room facing the street. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Peaceful location that is close if you want to walk to town but not in the middle of the more chaotic areas. It was so helpful that they took our luggage to the train station on the day of departure.

The breakfast was great, and it's in a convenient spot near the bus to Machu Picchu. The bed was comfortable.
The room was right on the street and was loud from the street, people in the lobby, and people shutting their doors. I requested a quiet room so definitely did not get that. The shower pressure was poor (all my other hotels in Peru had good water pressure). It was also bright through the sides of the curtains as there was a bright light right outside my window.
