The breakfast was good, it varied everyday, the staff were meticulous

I am genuinely surprised by the hotel’s overall rating of 8.2, as we have stayed in several beautiful luxury hotels, and Le Jadis truly exceeded our expectations! What stood out the most was the exceptional and personalised service. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome, with the kind of attention to detail you would expect from a true five-star hotel. We had lunch with our family of seven, and the service was wonderful. A special mention to Bienvenue, who was incredibly friendly, always smiling and made our experience even more enjoyable. I originally chose this hotel over several others because of the generous room sizes (over 70 m²), and I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. Even the most basic room category was beautifully decorated, extremely spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The attention to detail was impressive. Another special mention goes to a staff member whose name I unfortunately cannot remember. Despite having an injured ankle, she went above and beyond to help us and provided truly outstanding service. Her kindness and dedication really deserve recognition. The resort itself is beautiful, with several swimming pools, a complete spa, a beach and water sports activities. Everything you need for a relaxing luxury getaway! Breakfast was included in our stay and offered a lovely selection, including fresh juices. Being French but living in Australia, we often struggle to find really good French bread, so we were especially delighted by the baguette, which was genuinely excellent! Overall, we felt that the staff genuinely cared about making our stay special. This is exactly what five-star hospitality should feel like, and we would happily return!

There was honestly nothing significantly negative about our stay, just a few small details that could be improved. Although breakfast was good, we expected something slightly more impressive considering the hotel’s category and price. The truffle eggs were not quite to our taste, and the mushrooms contained a little too much water. However, the fresh juices and excellent bread were definitely highlights. The parking area could also be better organised and more in keeping with the standard of a luxury resort. Finally, the hotel is a little isolated, so I would recommend having a rental car if you plan to explore Mauritius. That being said, with the beautiful pools, spa, beach and activities available, you can easily enjoy your stay without leaving the property. These are very minor observations and did not take away from our wonderful experience.

The staff are lovely, the hotel is so beautiful and they are attentive and trying their best. They give you quality. The food is really good.
