Fabulous location with amazing views of the Venetian port. Splendid period decor, which lends to its unique style. And wonderful breakfast!!
Taxis can’t access the old town, which we didn’t realise. As a result it’s tricky to navigate through the maze of narrow streets, especially with heavy luggage.

Our room was clean and the bed was in a loft upstairs. The staff was present in the morning, but not late afternoon or evenings. The breakfast was nice, but they kept the room and the windows to the harbor shut.
We did not have a room with a harbor view and regretted staying at Casa Leone. The main attraction is that it is located directly on the Chania Venetian harbor. It honestly felt more like staying in an AirBnB than a hotel. It was quite stuffy in the main room where they served breakfast and where the front desk is located. This was for our entire stay of three days. We never really felt like we were on the harbor. The courtyard is cute, but it was directly outside the windows, so we kept the curtains shut most of the time for privacy.
