Good breakfast and evening meal. Great location. Comfortable enough for a small room, and quiet.
The stairs (ok, not hotel's fault, just our failing legs...)
Parking info could have been more helpful.
Radiators off so room cold at first - we appreciated the two heaters.
Better reading lights would help.

Great location although as parking was limited we parked in the nearby car park

Really comfortable bed
Room quite drafty due to old windows not sealing properly and gap under door, but appreciate it’s a listed building so probably restricted to what can be done. Maybe longer curtains would help.

Loved the location and the 15th century architecture, most of the staff were very friendly
TV not working, lost the WiFi on the 2nd day, no view from the window in our room due to plastic covering it, a sign said it was awaiting repair..music and brightly lit restaurant/bar made for a formal and non cosy vibe which didn’t reflect the beautiful building, or meet our expectations. The bar ran out of 3 draught beers on the first night and then one Gordons gin on the second. One member of the bar, 22 year old male possibly, came across as abrupt and using the ‘f’ word while chatting to fellow bar staff. Overall disappointing as some staff clearly have pride in their work and customer care, could be managed better
