The property is a lovely traditional country pub. Room was clean and very comfortable. Staff were lovely. Evening meal and breakfast were superb. Highly recommend the restaurant.
Had a problem with the toilet which we reported to staff. Should state when booking that you pay at the property and booking.com do not take your payment. I believed booking.com were taking the payment which led to us nearly leaving without paying. Very embarrassing.

The food at Breakfast and dinner was excellent, the room was listed as a suite it was basically a room with a couch in it, a piece of wood on the wall to hang your clothes, No wardrobe, bathroom had a great shower but limited room apart from that, the room had a fan, however it was on the upper floor heat rises and was a hot night anyway so room temperature was unbearable, looking if i got 3hrs sleep.
The room wasnt as expected other places i have stayed when told a suite was a proper suite, this was a slightly bigger room with a couch
