Iririki Island Resort & Spa

pools was nice and well kept. grounds were really nice. shuttle service to main land was always so quick and reliable

food was extremely expensive to eat at their establishments - even happy hour prices were a lot more than AUD prices in aus.

We stayed at Iririki Island Resort for five nights. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but there were definitely some areas that could be improved, especially considering the price. The positives: The location is excellent, and the ferry service between the island and mainland was convenient and enjoyable. The local staff were also very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The resort facilities were generally good, and we enjoyed the snorkelling and the easy access to the water. The swimming pools were okay, but I feel they are due for an upgrade. For the nightly rate, I expected the pool areas and facilities to be a little more modern and better maintained. It would also have been good to have more poolside sun loungers, particularly for guests wanting to relax or keep their belongings

The biggest disappointment was the food. Unfortunately, the restaurant was a real let-down for us. The menu was quite limited, and a large portion of the options were pork-based. I understand that the resort is Australian-owned and appears to cater largely to Australian tourists, so the menu may reflect that target market. However, as a family travelling internationally, we found the choices quite restrictive. We also felt the restaurant prices were quite high compared with some of the other dining options around Port Vila. As a result, we ended up having all meals but one outside. The one meal we did decide to have was an absolute let down. Do not order the Malaysian laksa - it was curry powder in water and should be taken off the menu because it’s definitely not laksa.

Could not fault the service and food. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The was tasty and the quickest order of hot chips. We stayed for 5 nights and the island itself was enough to relax on with 2 restaurants, 2 bars and multiple water sport options.

Our room location was unfortunately near the thoroughfare for staff and guests so it was noisy at times. The wifi had a limit so we kept having to request new codes but wasnt a big deal as we didnt come for the wifi.

One of the best spot for snorkelling. Great view and friendly staff.

The room is too old. The TV wasn't working; took two days to fix the TV. Poor WiFi and slow services; a whole day to get towels for showering.
