The position is great, close to 3 metro and train stations. Staffs are nice and helpful, plus the shower is really great.
It started quite bad, as our bedroom was not ready at 3 pm and as the hotel considered that we would have to pay an additional breakfast, despite I had chosen the option with breakfast included in booking. The staff solved that problem.
The next day we came back to the hotel after we had been around the City for 10 hours and our bedroom had not been cleaned. The staff solved that with a one hour cleaning at around 8.30 pm.
I discovered that after 10 pm they do not do room service anymore a but again the staff was very helpful and prepared 2 panini for my wife and daughter.
Breakfast is not at the level of a 4 stars hotel, very small choice, including for European visitors, it must be dramatic for Asian visitors or vegetarians. No crepe, no pancakes, no omelette, one single coffee machine for all, no freshly squeezed juice. Plus the cooler changed and on Saturday amd Sunday even the English breakfast was poorly cooked.
Finally I found it funny that you have to expressly request a shower mat, or you would not get it! First time ever.
All in all, I think the staff helps a lot and goes the extra mile, but they are quite abandoned by the Mercure chain.
