Great location. Very good breakfast. Staff friendly & helpful.
Some aspects of hotel look a little tired, house keeping a little lapse especially when it came to the bathroom. I felt it wasn't always cleaned to full extent.

Comfortable room. Very good food. Very friendly staff. Montrose is a very interesting town. We saw large flocks of geese at sunset on the basin and visited the town's very interesting museum and nearby House of Dun.

Breakfast was very good
The bedding could have been better, duvet outer cover was very big compared to the duvet.

Comfortable room, nice dinner and breakfast. Friendly servers in the bar and dining rooms.
No hot water for showering or washing in the morning.
