Character and beautifully maintained old features.
Birds are very active in the toilet department above your car park but you can’t control that!! So there was nothing I didn’t like!

Always enjoy my stay at Orton Hall and come a few times a year - staff always accommodating and helpful in reception (esp when ask for room
Near to reception ) . Older chap with white hair on reception particularly nice and friendly and very patient with people ! Girl on reception with glasses was really busy all the time but very polite and helpful - certainly earns her money ! Good customer service all round. Everything near at hotel in short walking distance is great - clean and easy nice pool etc. Room always made up nicely by cleaning staff who are polite and friendly too. Restaurant staff nice too !

Room was both comforatable and spacious ( I always appreciate there being a table and easy chairs to sit in).
The tea/coffe making facilities were good.
The room could have been a little warmer

The pool was good and so was the general cleanliness of the place. Staff were generally friendly.
The fridge and the hairdryer in the room was not working. It has probably not been working for some time as it has not been PAT tested unlike other appliances in the room. Also electric car charging wasn't available as described on the website. We were told it has been out of service for some time.
