Location
The bartenders were miserable and didn’t want us there and didn’t offer any help
8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
Location was excellent, short walk to the ferry, train station, and buses. Great for a traveler using public transport rather than a car.
I did not include meals in my stay. I found it odd that I would have to make breakfast reservations through the front desk. Fortunately, there were many great alternatives to choose from within easy walking distance.

The location
The headboard was grubby, the floor very uneven in both the bedroom and the bathroom, felt like you were walking uphill in parts. For junior suite, read seaview.
I was given the wrong breakfast item, they took the plate away, replaced the veggie haggis with the veggie sausage, but got the same scrambled egg back - stone cold. Also, not the best amount of breakfast for the £324 price tag per room.
