Stunningly beautiful
Table was wonky at breakfast 🤣

Breakfast was good
There was no lounge with comfortable soft chairs or sofas for residents to sit and relax in so, I was confined to the bedroom for comfort. The only communal area to sit sit in had a small bar, tables and chairs with a big screen that had football on it, which I didn’t appreciate, not relaxing at all!

The property of course is stunning. The gardens are small, but very pretty. The old school vibe is very interesting to immerse yourself in. Contrary to others reviews - Breakfast was actually really nice.
I booked the superior room (£300+) in the main building (pictured with a bath) and had only a shower, also the music from reception could be heard until late at night when it was finally switched off. I understand that its an old place and not built to block out a radio, but its kind of wild that you pay several hundred pounds to sleep in this hotel & you have the radio playing through your pillow.
