The hotel has beautiful views and a lovely setting, making it a pleasant place to spend a weekend with the family. The swimming pool was nicely heated, and the room service facilities were reasonably good. There are three dining options available: the main restaurant, the pub and the restaurant next to the swimming pool. This gives guests some flexibility when choosing where to eat, although the food options can be somewhat limited if you are looking for something specific.
One of my main disappointments was the children's play area. We had specifically chosen the hotel expecting an indoor playground for the children, but it turned out to be outdoors. With the unpredictable weather and strong winds, it was difficult to let the children play outside comfortably. This made a significant difference to our family experience.
Another disappointment was the information provided about breakfast for children. The booking information stated that children could have breakfast free of charge, but upon arrival, we were told that we had to pay for their breakfast. The amount itself was not the main issue; it was the discrepancy between what was advertised and what we were told at the hotel. I found this misleading and disappointing. The way this was handled by the breakfast restaurant manager also left me dissatisfied.

a peaceful, natural setting
The recreation room was equipped with nothing more than an old pool table. There were no modern or up-to-date games such as ‘table football’ available.
